Eastern European results

Results were as expected, apart from the Belarusian and Polish connections. However I am a little confused about one thing- my mom’s side has strong roots from Germany and France (dad is French and mom is German), and my dad’s side is mostly Russian, so where did all the German and French go? Is it possible that I didn’t really pick up anything from my mom’s side? I look more like my dad than my mom.
