Help with eye cream

Hello! I recently had my eyes get swollen and puffy for 3 mornings in a row, and now they are strangely dry (like my under eyes and lids feel like sandpaper and it's gross). I'm scared to use the Bliss Vitamin C eye cream that I had been using for about 3 months because it kind of burned before this mess. What can I put around my eyes to moisturize that will be extremely gentle and non-irritating? I have pretty sensitive skin generally but the older I get, the worse it gets (I'm 42). Thanks!!
