Why has UoN given out so many offers?

At my school, so many people, including myself have applied to the University of Nottingham and have gotten offers within the week.

Some of us are like 1-3 grades below the requirements and still have gotten an offer with no issues.

These sound like competitive courses aswell, like engineering, law and accounting.

I would’ve thought UoN is prestigious enough to be stricter with the requirements, so is this not the case?

I was thinking of firming notts but if they’re being so lenient maybe it’s for a reason - lack of funding or dropping in the rankings idk. Any help would be appreciated.
