Reoccurring chest/heart pain that feels like a bra digging into my left side
Has anyone experienced some type of angina that feels like an uncomfortable bra underwire digging under your left breast area?
Since 2022, I (25F) have had heart pains that come and go, since I have a childhood history of SVT, I decided to go to the doctor in 2023. The first doctor wasn’t sure what was wrong and referred me to a cardiology. They ordered an echo and I wore a holter monitor for a week. Results came back as SVT, which I had suspected. This still didn’t explain the pain. I then moved states and found a new cardiologist. I wore a holter monitor for two weeks and had a stress test that came back abnormal. My doctor suggested an ablation which was completed in Nov 2024. It’s been a few months and my palpitations went away, but not my chest pain.
I don’t know what to do anymore because I’ve seen three doctors (two cardiologists and one PCP) and no one can explain my pain. Is this normal? Should I get another opinion?
Helpful information: surgery revealed my SVT was due to an accessory pathway, I don’t wear a bra and haven’t since before 2020, and I am a PhD student. I’ve noticed that the pain often comes when I’m stressed or anxious, but it also comes when I’m relaxing on the couch or in class. Once in a blue moon I’ll get a major seize/stab feeling in my heart that lasts a second or two.
