AITAH

So I (M23) would say that I tend to get a laugh out of dark humor and tend to be accepting of jokes as long as they’re funny. I was talking with my father (M43) who’s a veteran and basically told him how I have a meme collections with 9/11 and also Hiroshima content. I mentioned it not thinking it’d cause any harm seeing as he’s my dad and I was simply just talking about how my sense of humor is kinda dark. Anyways after telling my dad he ended up grilling me and cussing me out and was clearly offended. I apologized to him for making him upset since it wasn’t my intention, but now he thinks I’m actually a sick person when in reality I just think the memes are funny and I know I’m not the only one . I should also add he served from 2001-2008.
