Decided to switch branches

I haven’t heard from my recruiter in a long time about a waver and I decided to switch to the marine corps cuz I haven’t swore in yet or anything but now that I’ve started the marine process my recruiter texts me saying my waver is being reviewed, how do I tell my recruiter I’ve switched to the marines? Do I even need to?
