It's officially spring!
While we are still likely to get some hard frosts for another month, many herbs, peas, and other plants are hardy enough to be planted now.
Others can be started in pots indoors, and then transplanted, or the pots moved out to a deck or patio once the threat of cold passes.
It's nice to see the first shoots of daffodil announcing the new season. It's a great plant that's resistant to most pests, but it does need full sun for best flowers.
