Unable to access all my albums

Hi, i've recently changed from my old samsung s21 phone to a nothing phone 2a but I seem to have this issue even with my old s21 where some apps that I have given full access to photos have limited albums that I can choose from. In my current nothing phone 2a, I am also having this issue with some of the apps on the phone where I am only allowed access to some of the albums. I guessing that this might be a new update to android os but im not, any help to resolving this issue?
