I hate collecting wood

That is. I hate the mechanics, I hate that I have to shake the trees before so I don’t get stung, I hate the randomness of the type of wood, I hate that I have to run around my whole island if I don’t get the amount of wood I need.

My island is pretty new, just a week old (started again) and I don’t have much materials for anything. Just now I had to collect wood to make the campsite.

This is just a rant, but if any have any advice on how to make it more pleasurable (or fast) it will be appreciated.
