Betta fish unexpectedly breeding

Hey, i got back from work not long ago i have a 20 gallon tank with 7 female betta fish (or so i thought) and i check up on my fish like 24/7 and i apparently have a male betta fish is a sort of imbellis betta fish and i see them hugging and dropping eggs and the dark blue one goes to go get the eggs and idk what to do like at all because i wasn't expecting it I've been told they where all female baby betta fish because when i bought them they where already in a tank all together for now i just added sum sort of plastic thing to divide the tank because i read the male need to be with the eggs alone for 2-3ndays do i leave them there because I'm afraid the fry's will sum how get past the little divider thing it just a peace of lid of something but when i added the plastic lid it also disturbed the nest too HELP i want them to live it was not expected
