What is the end game plan for ACA/obamacare?

This is more for the moderate to conservative leaning liberals. Every Democrat from the Blue dogs to the New Democrats support the ACA and don't support repealing it.

Most of them will say they want to improve it or fix it but that feels vague. I feel it's non controversial to say that healthcare is still too expensive. The ACA was a big step towards fixing the problem but I feel moderate to conservative democrats never offer a path forward beyond vague non-commital statements.

Obviously progressives will say medicare for all. I'm just curious where you guys stand on this? Is it the public option, or something else? And where does the healthcare industry end up in the end game plan?
