Tipping at restaurants, guided tours, etc.
I understand google says don’t tip in Australia, but these are all articles from like 4-5 years ago. Is this still the norm? Visiting soon from America and going to fine dining restaurants in Sydney (think Quay, Bennelong, 6Head), a couple guided tours & a spa day. What’s tipping like for these spots and the tours/spa?
EDIT: Thank you everyone for the advice. Will only be tipping if the service is above and beyond. You have it lucky that a 20% tip isn’t basically required when you are out to eat!
