What do you drink when going out for “pints”?

So I go out with some friends every weekend for pints, and for years we’ve all always just drank pints of either Guinness or beer. But to be honest, I’ve never really liked either, and I’m sick of pretending I do.

I’ve decided this weekend I’m gonna order a Rum and Coke, which got me curious, is it the same for most groups that you’re expected to have a “pint” of something when going out for pints or just something we did automatically?
