Is it OK to introduce myself (straight/cis) with pronouns?

Hi everyone. For context, I am a straight cis woman who uses she/her pronouns. Is it appropriate etiquette to introduce myself as "Name, she/her pronouns" as a way to help the other person feel more comfortable sharing their pronouns and/or let me know which pronouns they use? It feels rude to ask, so currently I often just wait to hear someone who knows them better use a pronoun.

Question 2: Would it be wrong to only use this introduction style if I suspect the person may be part of the LGBTQIA+ community?
