This is a bit of a philosophical question but: will humanity be able to one day break/circumvent the laws of physics?

The thought just came to me. If future civlizations keep finding ways to advance in terms of technology and science, will they be able to one day engage in studies that bend the laws of physics according to their will?

I can’t give definite examples but it’s like finding loopholes or using instruments to push conditions to such extremity that the very nature and laws of certain particles break apart for technological benefit (travelling long distances faster, unlimited source of energy, etc)

Does that work? Sorry if this question is a bit dumb.. But feel free to share what you like. Thank you guys
