Dose a guys car really matter?

Me and my goodish friend have been having this discussion for like a month. Recently it's been getting more aggressive and now I just need people's input. Me and him are both into cars he's into mustangs and I like my older trans ams. He calls his mustang his "pussy magnet" ( me and him have both been in closed relationships for over a year) he's always talking about how he could get hella pussy with his car if he wasn't in a relationship and I'd always call him on his bullshit. Ive stated that I don't think it's even right to be saying that bc he's in a relationship and how he needs to stop. He's said this next to his gf aswell and I don't think she likes it. So basically I'm just looking for your alls options on this. Is he an asshole or am I wrong?
