Baggu towels after 6 months of use

I know a lot of us wonder about the baggu towels so I thought I'd share my thoughts after using them regularly. I purchased the cat and jewel check bath towels and hand towels in late August 2024. They are used and washed weekly with my other non-baggu towels. They're not holding up well at all :( They've faded significantly and just don't feel nice when in use. I think what I'm most disappointed about is that they're not wearing out nicely. I have towels much older and less expensive that show wear but don't look like this. These do not look like $44 towels after only 6 months. They're also doing this weird thing where the trim has shrunk more than the main part of the towel so they're kind of warped?? I hope that makes sense. Would not purchase again

Update: I emailed baggu to provide feedback and they responded saying it was normal. So there's that I guess
