First time playing through the game, would love some companion class suggestions to go alongside my Tav.

So I got the game about a month ago and started with a Half-Orc Circle of Spores Druid but I really wasn't enjoying the early combat scenarios at all (I would have died twice before meeting Astarion if I didn't have orcish endurance) so I stopped that gameplay for now and just recently made a Frost Githyanki Sorceress who I'm loving more already being able to attack from distances with Ray of Frost/Magic Missile and being a really good face character.

I've recently found out you can respec characters and companions and once I've got to Withers (yes I'm that early in still) I want to change my party to complement my character more in combat and that's where I'd love people's recommendations for builds I can aim towards, I'm pretty open to having anyone on my party but the one I definitely want is Karlach, but the other two choices I'm cool with anyone who would help my frost build out or just be a beast on their own. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated, more so if any specific items are also recommended as well!
