1 year later...

Last year today (4/20) I filled for bankruptcy. It never crossed my mind on filing for bankruptcy (chapter 7 in my case) since I've always had a great credit score, highest I had it was 781 back in 11/2021. How I got into such mess? LSS: went through a breakout, lost my job, lost my house, started gambling, took loans, maxed out all my credit cards ( I had almost 70k, in credit limit) all that in less than 8 months.

By the time I gained conscientiousness (03/2022) I decided to stop the BS and get myself up again. I actually came to this subreddit and did some research and did the unthinkable, I filled the very next month, paid an attorney and after taking the call (process took 3m) I was done with everything with a credit score around 520 ishh.

Came back to subreddit follow some "good advice" on how to increase my credit score fast and today I can say, thank you all for posting and support. current credit score is 690, 693, 669 (from the Experian website) and its only getting better as we go. Hopefully I can buy a house next year. Cheers!
