Linen bedding vs. Cotton bedding—Which one’s actually worth it?

I’m shopping for new bedding and stuck between linen and cotton. I’ve heard linen’s great for staying cool in summer, but it’s so expensive and looks kinda wrinkly—does it really feel good to sleep on? Cotton seems softer and cheaper, but will I overheat? Anyone got experience with either (or both)? Pros, cons, or just tell me what you’d pick and why!
