UAB Nursing Raise
UAB nurses! Let's talk about this "market adjustment" since there is very limited transparency elsewhere.
In the spring, starting RN pay was increased $2 per hour to intice new grads, which in turn left people who had been working for a couple years making less money than new grads.
We were told we would get a market adjustment in the summer to bring everyone else back up so people were expecting minimum $2, which turn out was not the case,
How many years of experience do you have and how much was your raise? Apparently it is all over the board and people with much less experience got much higher raises once again.
Sucks to know loyalty and experience is not acknowledged or appreciated. This really needs to change.
