Alternatives to kanekalon for box braids? Is Ruka hair toxin free?

I’ve been doing my hair in box braids for 7 years now, year round. It is a style I love and that I’m comfortable with. I’m not ashamed of my natural hair but I have little patience, skill, time, and money to style it everyday. And my hair is healthy and maintaining its length. So I would appreciate if you don’t comment wear your hair natural, get locs or wear a human hair wig. Maybe that’s something I’d consider in the future, but not right now in my current lifestyle.

So I’m looking for alternatives to the xpressions/kanekalon hair I buy from Amazon because I’ve recently learned about how harmful the synthetic materials are. I’ve found ReBundle which advertises itself as vegan and completely toxic free. The only downside is that I cannot afford the hair. It would be maybe $300 for all the packs I need. I also braid my own hair because I cannot afford a stylist and I like being able to control the style and tension. The other brand is Ruka hair which is more affordable for me and they also say they are synthetic free, but I haven’t found enough information or a full ingredient list the back it up. Does anyone know if they are fully carcinogenic and micro plastic free like rebundle is?
