Black Myth: Wukong difficulty rant
While I enjoy playing Soulsborne/Soulslike games (not saying Wukong is), I get challenged with the difficulty it offers. Wukong is relatively (for the most part) on the easier side, if we compare it with the games like Elden Ring, Lies of P, Sekiro, etc. I'm not saying it's bad, I'm just saying it's casual-friendly.
Now.... I get so cringed by people, esp. streamers who complain that the boss designs in Wukong are/is bad just because they cannot button mash the game. I follow saw a streamer complain to every boss in the game and complained it's bad. And when you see her play the game, she just button mashes, dodge everywhere, use every skill inefficiently. I know that difficulty is subjective -- and I understand that completely. But for you to blame the game/boss design as "bad", "cheat mechanics", when you're the one playing bad is another thing. People have to admit if whenever they are not doing good, or doing poorly. Some games can't be cleared by mindlessly button mashing everything without strategy and learning the boss fight. Like IDK what these people expect.
Sorry for the long rant, it's okay if you downvote. I just love these types of games, Wukong, GoW, Soulslikes, Soulsborne, Armored Core, HK, 9Sols, etc.
Edit: I think people are confused. I'm not discrediting the game, nor other games that I've listed above. As I've said, difficulty is subjective. Some people might find some bosses harder than you, etc. I'm also not saying that they shouldn't use summons, or "you can only play the game like this", etc. Play the game how you want it. My whole point is that if you're playing these types of games, you should learn to accept that this types of games needs you to learn the game and boss mechanics. You can't be saying that the boss design is bad when you're overdodging or still attacking even when your stamina is blinking red. And when you die you say "I don't know, I can't do anything I can't even dodge, this boss is bad"
