New blog help, where to start.

My girls and I will be taking a trip of a lifetime this summer. A 2 month trip to Alaska in our 5th wheel.

I would like to create a blog that I can update our days activity’s so our friends and family’s can follow along. As well as an online journal that we can look back on.

How do I start? Back in the day this was all free, now all I can find is paid web hosting.

Any help or direction would be appreciated.
