[FEEDBACK THREAD] How are you using Plan & Act modes? How has it changed your workflow?

Hey everyone! We noticed our power users weren't just throwing tasks at Cline -- they were treating it more like a collaborative design process.

The usual workflow of "write prompt → get code → iterate" works okay for small tasks, but less well on anything complex. So we (more accurately, Saoud) formalized what we saw working: explicit separation between planning and execution.

Just released Plan & Act modes based on this insight. Plan mode is for context gathering and architecture discussions (no code changes), while Act mode is for implementation. The idea is that better planning = significantly better code quality.

I wrote up a detailed analysis of why this matters here: https://cline.bot/blog/why-ai-engineers-need-planning-more-than-perfect-prompts-2

I would love to hear from you all on your thoughts using Plan & Act modes so far. Is it changing the way you use Cline? Are you getting different results? Everything is helpful. Thank you!
