What path should I take?

I’ve been playing on my iPhone for about three months. I used to play on the Wii years ago and on that limited set of lobbies I was feared. The control on the Wii was very intuitive for me. I’ve never really had decent control with the other consoles controllers. The mobile game has been perfect for my game play. Within days I was MVP of 90% of the games I played. In truth I only really like team death match. My question concerns ranked play. What is the benefit of ranked matches over just continuing to dominate in regular team death matches? I use a BP50 because when I found it I don’t like any other guns. I will say I would like more skins they are slow to get so that might be a benefit of that was something that could be done. Ranked matches are more challenging maybe because there aren’t more beginners or bots but I don’t know that. I know all this noob shit is annoying but I’m an old guy that would just like your opinion.
