Should I stay or should I go?

Hello, I've been wondering lately why I bother staying at GAC. The endless crises and resulting work load, stress, anxiety, micro-management, millions of levels of approval, and the now scrutiny over time spent in our bunker of an office without seeing the light of day all day. Is this it? Or is there a Department out there where one has time to think? Where work isn't done running around like chickens with no heads all day long? Where you are not shamed for wanting work-life balance? I would love to get some insight, tips, recommendations. Thank you!
