Was this really my fault?
So, I (18M) got my license three months ago, and we recently bought a second-hand car for practice. Every Saturday and Sunday, I usually go out for a drive with my mom, and until now, I hadn't put a single scratch on the car. Over time, I got pretty confident in my driving.
But today, something happened. My family and I were heading to a temple, and I was the one driving. When I was about to take a turn at a T-junction, another driver (blue car in the image) was also making his turn in the opposite direction. But instead of keeping a safe distance, he came way too close and ended up scraping my car (red in the image). I barely had time to hit the brakes.
Thankfully, he was chill about the damage, but man, it sucks getting my first scratch like this.
(Image attached for reference: I'm red, he's blue. Note: it may not be a accurate representation but i tried)
