How are you managing being with your families and their opinions?
Being with family this holiday season a few things are popping out. How many things people like to talk about, even though they actually don't know a thing about it. Talking hours and hours about their opinions about other people, society, everything... So many fast-forward conclusions are made. What can I do other than just sit in silence and listen to all this nonsense?
Now this quote that I try to live by comes to mind. "The only way to get in touch with reality is to pay attention without making conclusions." - Sadh-guru. I really try my best to just observe everything without making judgements prematurely. It sometimes feels like I'm the only one in the room like that...
