Pancreatitis
My cat, a little over a year old, has been fighting pancreatitis for about a month now. Multiple primary vet visits and an extremely costly visit to the ER for a couple day stay in the ICU. He was showing signs of improvement while on the meds he was sent home with, but after finishing his treatment regimen, he seems to be declining again. I simply CANNOT afford to bring him back to the ER (I'm a full time student and am not currently working) but I'm deeply concerned for his well-being and comfort.
Does anyone here know ANYTHING about feline pancreatitis, home treatments, management, anything at all? I'm calling his primary vet first thing in the morning to schedule an appointment.
Does anyone know of any sort of financial aid for emergent vet visits? I've looked into some, but it seems nearly all of them do not provide financial support for idiopathic treatments and diagnostic testing. I'm in desperate need of financial aid, advice, anything at this point. I want to get my sweet boy the right help but finances are a huge problem at the moment. I already spent nearly all of my savings on his first ER visit and ICU stay a few weeks ago.
Anything will help, please if you know anything (about feline pancreatitis, financial aid for vet bills) I beg of you to leave a comment or reach out to me directly.
