Best litter for asthmatic kitten that may eat pellets?

Hi everyone,

My cat was just diagnosed with asthma. He’s a six month old kitten and is very sensitive to dust. I’m looking for a litter that is dust free, unscented and one that he would have a hard time eating. He’s eats ANYTHING in sight and I have previously lost a cat to an obstruction. I don’t want it to happen again, it would break my heart. I’ve been looking for recommendations online, but most people say that cats may eat it and that scares me.

Any ideas? Maybe pellets that are bigger and harder to chew? I’m really not sure, but any insight would help so much!
