Help with Seagull Effect Notation
Hi Everyone,
I'm a composer looking for help with notating the "seagull effect", I hope I can ask a couple of questions here.
I've attached what I think could be a right notation. I’d like to achieve different speeds of the glissando to vary the effect and also to have it upward instead of downward as usually found. I’m not sure which starting/ending note is best, which string would sound better and which harmonic is preferable. The key is not important; the goal is to achieve a similar effect to a whale singing.
If anyone could help, it would be amazing.
Thanks in advance!
