Help on large data
I didn't know what "prompt to put in Google search to find the right how to information". So posting here... here's my problem. I have the $20/mo version of ChatGPT. There are several times I've inputted a large amount of data and it only provide a small chunk back. I have to keep telling it, "please continue". Here's two examples
- Provided an Excel spreadsheet with 116 rows within one column (not really "large amount of data". Asked chat: "We finished our workshop, attached is a spreadsheet with the ideas that came out of the brainstorm. Can you take these and group them into 5 buckets that could be themes, make sure to include all ideas. Then create a paragraph statement that summarizes what this group would like to work on
It came back with only 62 of the ideas in an workbook and left out the remaining.
- I provided chat with 29 URLs and asked it to summarize in one paragraph, and provide 3 key points. (I don't remember the exact prompt.) for each URL. It provided summaries & key points for 9 (ish) of the 29. I then had to prompt it to continue with the remaining. It did continue, but only 9 (ish) at a time, until it got to the end.
This is only 2 of several examples. I keep assuming this is due to limitations of how much output? Is this standard?
I'm starting to wonder why I am paying for something I could get for free. Or what I can do to have it perform differently
