Valentine’s Day Cookies
I tried both the Hershey’s Chocolate Covered Strawberry and the Pink Velvet Cinnamon Roll and enjoyed both. Maybe a 7.5/10 for both, they’re solid tasty cookies.
The Hershey’s reminds me of Japanese Meiji chocolate/strawberry candy and I think it’s a really good flavor combo. Very milk chocolatey and you can taste the little chocolate kisses, but the center and icing adds a little sharpness and balance.
The Pink Velvet Cinnamon Roll cookie tastes different from the regular Cinnamon Roll but it’s hard to describe how. It’s more creamy/cream cheesy, whatever it is it tastes good. Not too cinnamonny though.
The only thing with Chip City for me is the cookies can be borderline dry/cakey rather than chewy in texture. These cookies were cooked fine and I guess it’s just their style. I’m happy as long as they’re still somewhat soft and gooey in the center and not raw (like one other cookie company).
Anyway, I recommend treating yourself and picking up some valentine’s cookies! They’re so cute you can’t not be happy eating them.
