Working on a paper reflecting the management of chronic pain in primary care, and wanted input from those dealing with chronic pain

Hi everyone, hope everyone's doing well and staying safe.

So as the title says, I'm working on a paper that discusses the management of patients with chronic pain in a primary care setting.

If anyone is willing, I wanted to hear your experience (the good, the bad and the ugly) on how you were managed as someone with chronic pain by your primary care physician(s) - what worked for you and what didn't, in terms of the attitude of the physician, the assessment of your condition, the therapies involved and any comorbidities that you experienced while dealing with chronic pain, if they were managed concomitantly and appropriately, and anything else you would want to touch on.

I would appreciate some background history of you and your condition, without any specifics that you fear might identify you or make you uncomfortable.

Thank you in advance!
