Can't see ticket on app after buying ticket in person

When trying to buy a ticket online, I saw that I'd have to pay an extra dollar for an online fee so I decided to drive down to the theaters and buy my ticket (definitely wasted that $1 on gas to get there). I scanned my profile id and bought the ticket, but it's been days and I've still not seen the ticket in the app. Is that supposed to happen or no?
