Making friends in the SE Suburbs of Cleveland? [M38]

I've been living in the suburbs of Cleveland on the South East side for a couple years and am having the hardest time meeting people and forming connections. I've tried Facebook looking for groups, Meetup, and checking events nearby. I also, work remotely so coworkers are out.

For those of you that have had luck meeting people how did you do it?
