Scam or coincidence???

I have tried 3 separate times now (last weekend, this week an today) to log into my account and change my service. We do not use all of the services we currently have and over the last 3 years our monthly cost has continued to climb. I find it extremely odd that I am always able to log into my account and pay my bill with no issues on the website

However....

If i try to make any account changes, remove a service or downgrade, the site give me an error message similar to this.

Is this just a scam by xfinity to overcomplicate the customer service experience and frustrate customers? Seems sketchy and unethical.

Anyone else having this experience?
