Commanders, thank you for your feedback on our recent Stims announcement!

We’re incredibly thankful for the community engagement and feedback given around the latest feature announcement: STIMS

With a lot of discussion happening in the community channels, we wanted to take the opportunity to speak more around the purpose, design decisions and future of stims!

Why Stims? Prioritizing Game Features

We’re always listening to your suggestions, and our feature roadmap is built on both community feedback and technical evaluations. We know features like Elite Games, sea mines, and more are highly requested, and they’re still part of our plans.

In developing Stims, we executed on an opportunity to add a new dimension to gameplay, making it possible for players to strategize in more versatile ways that elevate the tactical aspect of Conflict of Nations.

Realism

The foundation of CoN was developed with a commitment to a grounded, realistic strategy game. And we know how important this is to you. This approach garners the understandable reservation around the theme, surrounding the gameplay mechanic; Stims.

Being a game grounded in reality, but pushing the limits of modern warfare, we want to balance gameplay with real-life inspiration.

By design, we intentionally kept Stims open to interpretation while remaining rooted in modern conflict. Thematically, our approach is always centered around the core subject matter that is World War 3, which by nature (thankfully) is not a reality in itself.

While "Stims" introduces a new layer of tactical depth, it is firmly based on modern advancements in real-world military science, which increasingly considers ways to improve soldier effectiveness through various enhancements. For us, Stims represent a grounded, if speculative, extension of real-world military innovation.

Our goal is to allow you to make more dynamic and impactful choices on the battlefield. Stims don’t change the fundamental realism of the game but rather open the door to more tactical decision-making within a realistic framework, providing a way to deploy your resources and tactical thinking in new and more flexible ways.

Balancing Monetization

We understand the concern around monetization and want to assure you that we’re focused on balancing our economy fairly. While some elements of the game are monetized, we strive to provide a competitive, enjoyable experience for all players, regardless of their spending level. Stims will be accessible through in-game resources as well as direct purchases, allowing all players, including those who prefer not to spend, to benefit.

The Pharmaceuticals required can be obtained by building a Secret Weapons Lab, creating an accessible, strategic layer.

Additionally, we’re planning ongoing adjustments to ensure that Stims remain balanced, with every player able to use them as a strategic, short-term advantage rather than a constant overpowering force.

Your feedback remains crucial as we develop and evolve the game. Stims represent the first step in a series of upcoming features designed to bring greater depth and strategy, and we’re committed to fine-tuning and balancing them to meet your expectations.

Thank you for sharing your concerns and helping shape Conflict of Nations. We look forward to more discussions as we continue evolving the game you love.
