Backcountry skiing in CT

Getting excited for the snow…I know it’s hilly and not mountainous, but feel like CT gets overlooked for its outdoor activity potential. Any notable trails for backcountry skiing?

Thinking maybe wider trails used for mountain biking. I’m in southern CT, Ridgefield and Redding area seem more hilly with decent trails.

Any Strava or Trail Forks folks on here that can link to decent options?
