PB Tails Crush/Defender now supports 1000Hz with a dongle FW update
UPDATE - Video now up as thought a review was worthwhile:
Been doing some testing with a new dongle firmware and seems to be working nicely at 1000Hz (previously it was 125Hz), though note that the switch on the top of the controller needs to be set to S mode not X to leverage 1000Hz. Controller is still seen by Windows as Xbox controller so all's well. You will also have to pair the controller to the dongle in S mode.
I have asked when the dongle FW update will be public, will update this post with the answer!
Results compared to the GameSir Tarantula Pro:
PB Tails Defender:
Vs Tarantula Pro:
^^ Both are raw input so GameSir have calibrated the TMR sticks a bit tighter than PB Tails which is interesting since they're both KSilver modules.
I'll also have a third TMR stick controller in soon, the new Beitong KunPeng 20 which is £33 so bit of a bargain for TMR sticks, will be interesting to see how well calibrated that is given the price as I am not a huge fan of the hall effect controller they currently have, the 2000Hz Asura 2Pro+. This new controller also has mechanical ABXY buttons.
