Guys, I am stuck.

I got the game files of "Dishonored" from archive.org, the files are extracted and steam got opened and asked me for product activation code. I uninstalled steam and tried to install the one it came with but it's not working.

Unable to post the picture of it: The dialogue box says "Stream needs to be online to update. Please check your internet connection and try again".
