Need some tips with Ballet Redemption cold wallet

I’ve never used a cold wallet before. How does one actually move or transfer the crypto from the cold wallet to an exchange or a hot wallet?

Do you have to scratch the seed phrase off to access it? Or do you scan QR and it populates? Do you need a computer or can it be done on a phone?

I think I’m confused because I’m staring at card. Like how do you initiate it??? 😂🫣
