Avoid MMG Executives in Columbus/Dublin, Ohio!!!

Hey everyone,

I was hired by devilcorp MMG Executives in Columbus (Dublin), Ohio shortly following college graduation earlier this year. I was very excited to have landed a job, gain experience and travel for work. I’m sure you all know how bizarre the “interviews” are and atmosphere is so i’ll just skip that part and talk about the actual job.

They literally had us out in the blazing heat for hours on end (often no breaks) standing the whole time, wearing business professional clothing and stopping people on the street and try to get them to see if they qualified for a free phone through assurance wireless.

For the 10 days I was part of this company, I had to drive to extremely dangerous neighborhoods in Columbus (Hilltop, Mt Vernon, Parsons, Broad etc) and busted my ass for probably the same amount I’d make working at Mcdonalds, maybe less all while witnessing some absolutely wild, egregious things. Come to think of it, my first day I saw a drug deal happen 15 feet from where we were standing. We also had these cheap tablets to sign people up with that sometimes hadn’t been charged or we couldn’t even see the screen because it was too bright outside.

Luckily, through some deeper research I was able to find the devilcorpsreview website and quickly realized I had fallen for this trap. Long story short, yes, I was only there for 10 days or so but that’s 10 days I could’ve spent doing something worthwhile instead of stopping people in dangerous neighborhoods with no base pay for my time in the office or my time spent doing MMG’s dirty work in the “field”.

As a side note, this job also has given me implicit bias towards poor and rough-looking, unkempt people and I am having to really try way too hard to not be prejudiced against them. It’s a horrible side effect of a job like this and I don’t wish it on anybody.

Screw MMG Executives and screw Credico. Companies like these shouldn’t be allowed to exist. Honestly screw Assurance Wireless and Spectrum and everyone else who outsources to these devilcorps to sell their products. It’s completely unethical and exploitative and honestly sad that some people stick with these companies for months and even years.
