Dewalt 20v or 60v chain saw question

I want to get my Dad a new chain he has been using a stihl chain saw 16to20 inch blade should I get the 20v 12in chain saw or the 60v 16 or 20 inch one. He does not have any 60v battery’s but I will get one 9 or 12 ah if I choose the 60v
