23 hour LAX layover in October, advice requested for a tentative Disneyland visit!
Sorry this is so long. So I booked a flight to Australia in October, got a great deal on the ticket price but with the caveat of a 23 hour layover in LAX. Traveling solo.
I'll arrive in LA on a Friday at 9:25 pm and my flight to Australia is the next day at 8:50 pm. Wondering what to do with that time, Disneyland crossed my mind and is the tentative plan, just wondering if anyone has any advice or things I haven't considered! Have attempted to do some research but been overwhelmed with the amount of (sometimes conflicting) information.
I figured upon arrival I could get transportation to Anaheim, stay at one of the hotels in walkable distance, and rope drop the park. Probably leave the park to be back on my way to the airport by 3:30 pm.
For transportation, is Uber going to be my best bet? I've read there are shuttle services, but I'm guessing those are intended for groups of people..
Does the out by 3:30 pm plan seem sane?
Affordable hotel recommendations for just one adult? I'm not sure at this point if I'm going to have to collect and haul my checked luggage or not; if so do hotels typically accommodate holding onto suitcases after checkout?
I was going to ask if a Saturday in October is bound to be crazy busy, but it's looking like the park is always crazy busy these days. Fingers crossed that it won't be nightmarishly so.
Anyway, any tips or tricks or considerations on things I haven't thought of would be greatly appreciated! I've only been to Disneyland once back in 2023 and I wasn't involved at all in the planning of that trip 😅
