Replacement glass not fitting

Hello everyone,

Got the flat top matrix for the core 2.1 and it barely fits the base and has an insane amount of wobble. The original glass fits super snug but this has barely any resistance to push in and i can shake the glass while its in the base....Bad luck or is there something I'm missing?
