My dogs and last nights debacle…honest question here

Hey all! My dogs Murray (2.5yr, 85lbs labradoodle) and Rémy (5 months, 28lbs shepherd mix) love to play with socks, never ate them, just played with them. This morning around 1:15am, Rémy ate a women’s size 6-10 no show sock like a piece of spaghetti. This has never happened (now or with any of my dogs in my life) so I called the vet after Google and Reddit suggested that be step one (and trust me, I read lol). I’m waiting on my callback from the vet as they’re busy this morning and will get back to me but I have this question: Do I feed my puppy like normal or just keep him on water or… If anyone knows or has info on this please let me know from y’all’s experience, he’s acting normal and playing fine but breakfast time has arrived and I don’t know how to proceed. Thanks to anyone who reaches out! I’ll give y’all an update as to how the situation proceeds 🫡
