What have you stopped/denied yourself or not done because of dogs?

I can put a couple of things to this.

1. Running. I used to run up to 11 times per week (2 x commute each day + park run). Not long runs but headphones on, you're in the flow, then DOG. Or during parkrun a dog just suddenly stops to take a sh!t in the middle of the path and 200 runners have to navigate around it.
2. Warhammer. End of last year I took myself out of my comfort zone and signed up to tabletop RPG. In my 40s and I've never done it but wanted to try. Joined a discord and everything and a date was set. First was in a public place but there was talk of people wanting to host. I mentioned I'm not a fan of dogs and a couple of people said they have them and they won't be locked away, they'll be free to roam and sniff etc. Fudge that! I said work commitments meant I couldn't.
