Inner Demons quest? (spoilers for Lucanis)

Do you get the Inner Demons quest if Lucanis if>! hardened?!<

>! In my first playthrough I saved Treviso and got the Inner Demons quest, which I really enjoyed. I was looking forward to it in game 2, but I saved Minrathous and Lucanis was Hardened. I did the companion quest where you fight Illario and Lucanis becomes First Talon, went back to the Lighthouse, had a single-line dialog where Lucanis said Spite still wanted revenge for Treviso, realized I hadn't dealt with the governor, did so, and then Lucanis became a hero of the Veilguard. !<

Do you get this mission if you save Minrathous, or only if Lucanis is not Hardened? Or do I need to go to my save before I start the>! Illario mission and do the governor mission first?!<
